Committed to the Prevention of Genetic Disease

What We Offer

Our platform has the ability to make PGS and
PGD readily accessible to couples who want to be
proactive participants in the health of their
future children.

Our Platform

Our platform includes a device embodied into a minimally invasive procedure that recovers blastocyst stage embryos. Recovery by uterine lavage occurs five days after fertilization. Using existing laboratory protocols, recovered blastocysts can subsequently be biopsied and screened for specific genetic diseases and then selectively cryopreserved. Blastocysts are then thawed individually and selected for embryo transfer to implant based on individual PGS and PGD diagnostic data.

The Device

Previvo Uterine Lavage System™

The Previvo Uterine Lavage System is a medical device enabling recovery of in vivo developed blastocysts from the uterus of a woman. The System embodies a single-use intrauterine Lavage Catheter, a Lavage Controller and a transportable collection system.

Patient Benefits

A New Choice

Many couples worry about the health of their baby if one or both parents carry the risk of a genetic disease. Until now, choices have been limited to IVF-based PGS/PGD testing, or post-pregnancy fetal testing. Previvo Uterine Lavage provides a new choice for addressing infertility, aneuploidy, and genetic disease.

Pre-Pregnancy Awareness

Pregnant women who undergo genetic diagnosis by NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing), Amniocentesis or CVS (Chorionic Villus Sampling) and receive positive results face the hard choice of whether to terminate the pregnancy. Previvo Uterine Lavage, along with PGS/PGD, offers women, their partners and their families a way to avoid pregnancy termination.

Practitioner Benefits

New Treatment for Fertile Couples

Previvo Uterine Lavage provides the opportunity to manage a new set of patient-presenting scenarios for fertile couples diagnosed with high-risk genetic indications.

Access to Embryonic Genome

Opportunity to diagnose and avoid genetic disease before implantation.

Minimally Invasive

Non-surgical procedure performed in the comfort of a physician’s office.

In Vivo Environment

In vivo developed blastocysts are historically known to implant at higher rates than IVF fertilized eggs.1,2
